Recovery became more than just healing from addiction—it was about rediscovering my passion, purpose, and pleasure, and learning to live fully, in each moment of every day. Was my problem the alcohol and drugs, or was it my perception of life?

Now, as an Ontological Coach, I’ve written this book to ignite hope and offer insights that were once hidden. This unveiling leads to authentic connection and deep healing. I truly believe that connection heals addiction.

For years, I believed everyone else had been given a roadmap to life, and I was left out. After getting clean, I thought focusing on my shadows and challenges would detract from my ability to share my gifts. What I’ve since learned is that light and shadow are not opposites—they are partners. Embracing both is essential to living fully.

Today, my mission is simple: to create a world where no one feels alone, and where we all have access to the roadmap of life, which is found in the present moment.
