Hi, I’m Linda Fischer. Most people call me Shekinah. In 1979 my life took a dramatic turn…for the better. I got clean and sober.

Life became not only about recovery, but about learning to live my passion, purpose and pleasure, each moment of each day. So was my problem the alcohol and drugs, or the way I had been looking at life?

Now, as an Ontological Coach, I’ve written this book to inspire hope in the world, and to share what had previously been hidden, as this is the gateway to authentic connection and healing. As I like to say – connection heals addiction.

For many years I thought everyone but me had been given a roadmap to life. Later, after recovery, I thought that if I gave attention to my shadows and hardships it would take away from being able to give my gifts. Little did I know at the time that the shadow and light are complementary.

I am on a mission to live in a world where no one feels alone and we all have a roadmap – which is living in the present moment-to-moment.
